SWITCHING SHELF CARD FILE clei The Switching Shelf Cardfile is a 19 rackmount shelf which is composed of 8 Dual Switching Card slots, 8 Dual Receiver Card slots, and one Termination Card slot. The minimum configuration is one Termination, one Dual Receiver, and one Dual Switching Card. The Dual Receiver and Dual Switching Card slots are associated and always go in pairs. The shelf is scalable from one Dual Receiver/Switching Card to 8 Dual Receiver/Switching Cards in increments of one. One Switching Shelf Cardfile implements a complete 36170 ATM switching matrix (12.8 Gbps): if fabric redundancy is required a second Switching Shelf Cardfile is required. This assembly contains a Telcordia CLEI (Common Language Equipment Identifier) label.
