PE FR R3&X.25 R1.2 A 3600/3600+ UCS card that functions as an integrated mulitprocessor, high performance frame relay and/or X.25 switch. Supports either frame relay or X.25 protocols, or both concurrently, depending on network and customer requirements. A total of 3.968 Mbps (2 x 1.984 Mb/s) of bandwidth is available between the card and the switching matrix. The card supports an interface to the FASTbus via the FIP (90-1637-01). The PE card is optimized for X.25 and supports up to 512 logical X.25 user ports per card. Minimum node software release of 6.1 is required. Requires a fan tray to operate. Maximum three PE cards per 3600 shelf.
