The Extended ISL (X-ISL) Dual Hub card provides two bi-directional 800M ISL links supporting 12 UCS slots in a peripheral shelf. ISL Port#1 supports UCS slots 1-6, and ISL Port#2 supports UCS slots 7-12. Two X-ISL Dual Hub Cards are required per peripheral shelf for fabric redundancy in multi-shelf systems. This card is delivered with R4.2 application software. X-ISL reach is 15km over computer supplied Single Mode Fiber. SMF cable requirements are: 9/125 micron core/cladding, 0.35 dB/Km attenuation at 1310nm, flat polish SC/SC connectors.
