The shelf, together with the I/F CARD PRI APS (90-6345-02) and CONTROL CARD PRI APS (90-6346-01) provide N:1 Automatic Protection Switching support for T1/E1 CE Cards on the 7470 by switching the traffic on a failed card to the protection card.
