7470 STM4-2 IR The STM4-2 ATM IR Card is a UNI/NNI STM4 ATM interface card operating at the SONET STM4 rate of 622 Mbps, with 32k egress cell buffering management capability. The Intermediate Reach(IR) single mode fiber optical interface has a total loss budget of 12 db. The STM4-2 employs the CPU-2 module for enhanced call performance.

7470 STM4-2 LR Identical to 90-6200-21-31 except the Long Reach (LR) single mode fiber optical interface has a total loss budget of 24 db.

7470 STM4-2 XLR 1550 Identical to 90-6200-31 except the eXtra Long Reach(XLR) single mode fiber optical interface has a center wavelength of 1550nm.

8 PORT DS3 CR CARD clei The 8 port DS3 ATM Card is an 8 port card. Each port is both a UNI and NNI DS3 ATM interface operating at 45Mbps. Each interface has dual coax BNC connectors with a range of 450 feet. The DS3 card is fully compliant to the mandatory requirements of the ATM Forum UNI specification (version 3.1) and the ATM Forum B-ICI specification (version 2.0). This card is also supported in ESE R2.0.

800M ISL HUB clei The 7470 800M Hub Card can be used in place of a DHUB card in the Peripheral Shelf Cardfile. The 800M Hub card handles one bi-directional 800M ISL link which supports all 12 UCS slots in the shelf. The 800M hub card is suited for use in peripheral shelves where the total bandwidth of all interfaces is less than the bandwidth of one ISL. Two 800M Hub Cards are required per peripheral shelf (for fabric reduncancy) in multi-shelf systems.

BNC CONVERSION CABLE FOR ELEC SFP A pair of 1 meter 1.0/2.3 Coaxial Connector (Type A Coupling) to BNC conversion cable. One can be used for Tx and the other for Rx. . Used with the Quad OC3/STM1 SFP Cell Relay card or the OC3/STM1 Working I/O (90-9785-02) to adapt the SFP connector to existing cable connectors.

CE - I/F CARD T1/E1 APS The I/F T1/E1 APS Card in combination with CONTROL CARD T1/E1 APS (90-6346-01) and the T1/E1 APS SHELF (90-6344-01) provides N:1 Automatic Protection Switching support for T1/E1 CE Cards on the 7470. Each T1/E1 Card on the 7470 that is to be protected must be connected to an Interface APS Card in the APS Shelf. The Interface APS Cards contain relays to route the traffic to either its regular T1/E1 Card, or onto the panels protection bus where the traffic is routed to the protection card. This APS card is compatible with the T1/E1 CE MAUs.

CONTROL CARD-2 W/EPM clei The Control Card 2 with enhanced Processing Module (ePM) implements the control complex functions for the node. The Control Card 2 provides two RS-232 ports node management (local and/or remote NMTI), and one Ethernet 10BaseT interface port for network management system access. One Control Card is required for a non-redundant control complex and two for control complex redundancy per 7470 system. Node management, alarm, and timing terminations require a control card interconnect panel (CCIP). One CCIP serves both active and redundant control cards. There are two variants of CCIP for US Telco (90-2295-x1) and International (90-2295-x2) requirements. Note that this card is not supported in Release 8.0 and above - only the Integrated Control Card (90-6226-xx) is supported in Release 8.0 and above systems.

CR/IMA MODULE FOR T1/E1 MS CARDS CLEI This optional, field-installable module provides T1/E1 Cell Relay functionality, enabling the 32 port T1/E1 multi-service card (7670 ESE) or 16 port T1/E1 MS card (7470 MSP) to deliver both Circuit Emulation and Cell Relay services. Cell Relay services are provisionable per DS1/E1 circuit. Up to 16 IMA groups are supported per module when used with the 32 port T1/E1 MS card, or 8 IMA groups per module when used with the 16 port T1/E1 MS card. The IMA implementation is compliant to the ATM Forum IMA specification Version 1.0 or 1.1. IMA v1.0 or v1.1 is configurable on a per T1 or per E1 basis.

CTL & INTEG. CALLP/PNNI UPGRADE KIT This kit is used to upgrade an R5.0 (or higher) Control or Integrated CallP/PNNI card to the enhanced Processor Module (ePM) and larger (256M) SanDisk. Factory shipments of R5.0 and higher Control and Integrated CallP/PNNI cards ship with the ePM installed, and with the larger SanDisk included, and do not require this upgrade kit. The kit contains an ePM (333 MHz PowerPC 755 module with 512M RAM), 256M SanDisk, part number labels and instructions for installation. This kit is also suitable for IP Services Cards (90-6184-xx) requiring upgrade.
