The E3 Channelized Circuit Emulation Card provides a single 34 Mb/s TDM interface. The E3 port is channelized into 16 E1 channels. The card performs the ATM adaption function to map each of the 16 channels into ATM virtual circuits. The card is shipped with the DS3/E3 SWITCHING MAU (90-4919-01) which provides two pairs of coaxial connectors. This card is delivered with R4.0 application software.

The OC3-2 XLR UNI/NNI Card with CPU-2 is an ATM interface card operating at the SONET OC3 rate of 155 Mbps, with 32k cell buffering per card. The transmit and receive wavelength of the XLR card is 1550 nm and supports up to 10km of fiber. The OC3-2 XLR is a single port card compliant to the requirements of the ATM Forum UNI Specification (Version 3.1) and the ATM Forum B-ICI Specification (Version 2.0). Requires a minimum of Release 3.1 for operational support.
