STM1-2M SFP W/CPU-2 CLEI This card may be used in 7470 MSP R6.0 - R9.1 or 7670 ESE R2.2 - R5.X systems. The STM1-2M SFP UNI/NNI Card with CPU-2 is an ATM interface card operating at the SONET STM1 rate of 155 Mbps, with 32k cell buffering per card. The STM1-2M SFP is a single port card compliant to the requirements of the ATM Forum UNI Specification (Version 3.1) and the ATM Forum B-ICI Specification (Version 2.0). The card is shipped without the optical or electrical physical interface and requires one of the following parts to be installed before the card is functional: 90-9764-01 (OC3/STM1 MMF SFP), 90-9764-02 (OC3/STM1 IR SFP), 90-9764-03 (OC3/STM1 LR SFP) or 90-9764-04 (STM1 ELEC SFP). Note that the full set of SFP functions are only available in 7470 MSP R9.1 or 7670 ESE R5.1; in earlier releases the cards operate in 'transparency mode' and do not have access to the full set of SFP functions. One of the following adaptor cables must also be ordered, depending on the physical connector type required: 90-9771-01(SINGLE MODE LC TO SC CONVERSION CABLE), 90-9771-02 (SINGLE MODE LC TO FC CONVERSION CABLE), 90-9771-03(MULTIMODE LC TO SC CONVERSION CABLE), 90-9772-01 (BNC CONVERSION CABLE FOR ELEC SFP) or 90-9772-02 (SMZ CONVERSION CABLE FOR ELEC SFP). This card is designed to accept the optional Multi-Service Traffic Shaping Module (MTSM, 90-4724-01) or enhanced Traffic Shaping Module (eTM, 90-7695-01) which, when installed, provides enhanced traffic management features. This card is also supported on the 7670 ESE shelf. Note that only the eTM is supported for traffic shaping on the ESE.
