E3-2 ATM UNI/NNI W/CPU-2 R4.3 The R4.3 E3-2 ATM Card w/CPU-2 is a triple port card. Each port is both a UNI and NNI E3 ATM interface operating at 34Mbps. Each interface is dual coax BNC connectors with a range of 450 feet. The E3-2 card is fully compliant to the mandatory requirements of the ATM Forum UNI specification (version 3.1) and the ATM Forum B-ICI specification (version 2.0). The E3-2 differs from the E3 card (90-2294-xx) in that it provides larger buffers, more service categories, substantially higher call processing capabilities and a Multi-Service Traffic Shaping Module position for support of the optional enhanced traffic management features. A BNC MAU (90-2322-02) is included for physical connection via coaxial cable. The Multi-Service Traffic shaping module (MTSM) can be ordered as 90-4724-01.
