CE - I/F CARD PRI APS The I/F PRI APS Card in combination with CONTROL CARD PRI APS (90-6346-01) and the E1/T1 PRI APS SHELF (90-6344-01) provides N:1 Automatic Protection Switching support for T1/E1 CE Cards on the 36170. Each T1/E1 Card on the 36170 that is to be protected must be connected to an Interface APS Card in the APS Shelf. The Interface APS Cards contain relays to route the traffic to either its regular PRI Card, or onto the panels protection bus where the traffic is routed to the protection card. This APS card is compatible with the T1/E1 PRI CE MAUs.
