E&M CARD (6) 600C (4-3/0-7)U This card consists of six E&M interface circuits software configureable for 2 wire (600 ohm + 2.16 uF) or 4 wire (600) transmission. Type I, II, or III signalling and Mu-law voice companding are supported. This card includes modified gain selections.

E-3 I/F CARD E118.0 This card supports one E-3 (34Mb/s) interface. It is located in the High Speed Periheral Shelf-2 (90-0652-02). It may be configured in non-redundant and redundant configurations (ie. with another card). Provides electrical (metallic) E-3 interface or an optional fibre optic interface using the Fibre Interface Card-2 (90-2866-01). Requires a 3600 Switching Shelf Generic C118.0 equipped with a High Speed Peripheral Shelf-2 (90-0652-02).

E1 120 4P VOICEBAND SERVICES CARD (VSC) The Voiceband Services Card (VSC) terminates TDM channels at its 120 ohm E1 ports, and provides features including speech compression, silence removal, and fax demodulation to adapt these TDM channels to transport over an ATM network. The VSC requires a minimum of one (typical applications require three) and a maximum of three DSP1 transport modules as per 90-4654-02. Fits 7470. This assembly contains a Telcordia CLEI (Common Language Equipment Identifier) label.

E1 120 4P VOICEBAND SERVICES CARD clei The Voiceband Services Card (VSC) terminates TDM channels at its 120 ohm E1 ports, and provides features including speech compression, silence removal, and fax demodulation to adapt these TDM channels to transport over an ATM network. The VSC requires a minimum of one (typical applications require three) and a maximum of three DSP1 transport modules per 90-4654-01 or 90-4654-02. Fits 7470.

E1 8 PORT 120/75 COAX DIST.PNL The Bal/Unbal BNC Distribution Panel provides 8 external BNC interfaces to the 120 ohm E1 ports of an E1 card. It may be used with any of the following cards: 90-4671-x2 (E1 CR), 90-2541-x2 (E1 UFR), 90-2544-x2 (E1 CFR), 90-2517-x2 (E1 CE), 90-6351-x2 (E1 CR), 90-7277-x5 (16 port E1 FR) , 90-9729-x1 (16 port VoP), or 90-9169-01 (32 Port MS). A D78 cable (90-8269-01 for ESE and 90-2766-02/22 for 7470) connects the line card to the panel which provides a BNC connector for each port Tx and one for each port Rx. The panel is 1 vertical unit (VU) high rack-mountable device. This panel was changed in 2003 (PCN# 9541) to remove the grounding option in order to comply with the EU 2003 directive for EMC Class B emissions. The outer conductor is permanently tied to the chassis.

E1 8 PORT 120/75 COAX DIST.PNL The Bal/Unbal PRI BNC Distribution Panel provides 8 external BNC interfaces to the 120 ohm E1 ports of a PRI card. It may be used with any of the PRI cards (90-4671-x2, 90-2541-x2, 90-2544-x2, 90-2517-x2, 90-6351-x2, or 90-7277-x5). A D.78 cable connects the PRI card to the panel which provides a BNC connector for each port Tx and one for each port Rx. The panel is 1 vertical unit (VU) high rack-mountable device. Grounding switches allow the service personnel to independently ground any of the coaxial shields.

It may be used with any of the following cards: 90-4671-x2 (E1 CR), 90-2541-x2 (E1 UFR), 90-2544-x2 (E1 CFR), 90-2517-x2 (E1 CE), 90-6351-x2 (E1 CR), 90-7277-x5 (16 port E1 FR), 90-9729-x1 (16 port VoP), 90-9169-01 (32 Port MS), or 90-9730-01 (32 port VoP). A D78 cable connects the line card to the panel which provides a BNC connector for each port Tx and one for each port Rx. The panel is 1 vertical unit (VU) high rack-mountable device. The outer conductor is permanently tied to the chassis for EU compliance.

E1 BNC DISTRIBUTION PANEL The E1 Coax Distribution Panel provides 8 external BNC interfaces to the 75 ohm E1 coaxial ports of an E1 line card. It may be used with any of the E1 cards (90-2541-x3 or 90-2544-x3). A D.78 cable connects the E1 card to the panel which provides a BNC connector for each port TX and one for each port RX. The panel is a 1 vertical unit (VU) high rack-mountable device. Grounding switches allow the service personnel to independantly ground any of the coaxial shields. This panel is shipped with 1VU mid-mount brackets.

E1 CARD EMC Similar to 90-0371-02 but tailored for 120 OHM application. Supports rear AMP CHAMP signal access only. Requires one 90-0568-02 (120 ohm) E1 LIM.

E1 CARD Mother card for single 2.048 Mbps E1 electrical interfaces. Conforms to CCITT G.703 and G.732. Requires the E1 LIM (90-0568-01) daughter card to complete the interface. The Superrate Adaptor Module (90-0469-01) for E1/T1 rate conversion or the Companding Conversion Module (90-0369-01) for A-law, Mu-law conversion are also supported.

Use the 120 ohm 8-port CE card with the CE-EC modules.
