SWITCHING INTERFACE CARD This card is required in each 3600 Peripheral Shelf pair (1 or 2 depending on Peripheral redundancy). For upgrade of a 3600 to a 3600 Peripheral Shelf, each 3600 Expander card is replaced by a Switching Interface Card. This assembly is similar to 90-0639-01 but allows for rear panel connectivity. This assembly contains a Telcordia CLEI (Common Language Equipment Identifier) label.

SWITCHING SHELF AC EMC This shelf is required for each 3600 Multi Shelf System and accomodates up to eight Switching Cards (90-0640-XX). Two shelves are required if the 3600 Multi Shelf System is configured for redundant switching operation. Consists of a cardfile and backplane. To be used only with the AC Power supply and tray (120V) (90-9524-01/90-3669-01/90-3669-02) or the AC Power supply and tray (240V) (90-9524-01/90-3669-01/90-3669-05). Meets Class B EMC and Bellcore TR-1089 requirements when configured appropriately.

SWITCHING SHELF CARD FILE clei The Switching Shelf Cardfile is a 19 rackmount shelf which is composed of 8 Dual Switching Card slots, 8 Dual Receiver Card slots, and one Termination Card slot. The minimum configuration is one Termination, one Dual Receiver, and one Dual Switching Card. The Dual Receiver and Dual Switching Card slots are associated and always go in pairs. The shelf is scalable from one Dual Receiver/Switching Card to 8 Dual Receiver/Switching Cards in increments of one. One Switching Shelf Cardfile implements a complete 36170 ATM switching matrix (12.8 Gbps): if fabric redundancy is required a second Switching Shelf Cardfile is required. SYS CTL CARD 3 clei This card is required for each 3600 shelf (90-0010-10, 90-0010-13, and 90-0010-14). The card supports releases 7.1, and 8.0. The downloadable memory module is not included but required for proper operation. This card also requires an expander card (90-0035-05) in most applications requiring double bandwidth.
